GLS Electric Inc. opened for business in 2005 in South Point, Ohio. Since the beginning, they have engaged in a host of commercial and industrial construction projects in Southern Ohio, Eastern Kentucky, and Western West Virginia. In 2018, GLS began extending their services into the data and communications construction elements, and has also been offering security and telephony systems to their customer base.

Chad Jones began working in the Information Technology industry in 1994. He began his career in the IT Department of a private college, where he built and maintained a campus wide local area network and assisted the department director in the operations of the colleges CLEC, providing telephone and internet services to the community. During these years he was able to obtain foundational skills in all types of copper and fiber infrastructure, network and telephony hardware, desktop and server hardware and operating systems, access control,and beyond. Throughout the last 26 years, he has been working and developing these skills and implementing new technologies for customers in medical, legal, educational, manufacturing, agriculture, utility, and other professional services.
